2 weeks left in SoME2!
Hey folks! There are 2 weeks left for the Summer of Math Exposition this year. Now is the time to start wrapping up your projects and submit them through the submission form. Remember that the deadline is at 11:59.59 IDLW on August 15th.
As of right now, there are still a large number of collaboration requests on github. If you are still struggling to find an idea, there is just enough time to browse the available topics and create your submission!
Like last year, there will be a peer review after the submissions have closed. We will ask that every person who submitted an entry also takes a little time to review other entries. We will also be opening up the peer review to a larger audience this year beyond those who submitted to SoME2. More information on that will be available next week!
Remember that the purpose of the Summer of Math Exposition is to encourage those who have been wanting to make online content to go ahead and make content! The way we see it, the more people talking about math, the better! That said, the prize pool is also larger than last year, so your chances of winning is also larger.
So far, the submissions look great and we really look forward to seeing what everyone else makes!
